The SmallRig Quick Release Plate includes a quick release base and a Mini Euro camera plate that is compatible with Sachtler 16, O’Connor 80mm and Ronford Baker RBQ 80mm camera plates. The Sachtler 16 plate is the one found on the DV12, Video 15, Video 18 & Video 20 series of fluid heads.
Attach the plate to the camera, drop it into the base and the system is locked. Push the lever a bit further to ensure it is safe and secure. Multiple 1/4’’-20 and 3/8’’-16 threaded holes on the bottom of the base can be used for mounting to any device that lacks a quick release. The whole kit weighs only 12 ounces and features a smooth one-handed quick release and safe positive locking mechanism.
