The Contineo 7D/5DMKII non-powered camera cage leverages the small size of the Canon HDSLR's and turns them into a solid camera platform offering multiple mount points for accessories or handheld configurations. The cage was designed to utilize the hotshoe and locating pins to provide a rock solid mount with no play between the camera and the mattebox rails. The cage is robust enough to support the weight of a number of accessories while not significantly increasing the size of the camera. Features include: Multiple 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 threaded mounting locations on both sides, top, and bottom of the cage. 15mm support bracket is provided for mattebox rails at industry standard distance from lens center. Easy assembly with marked parts. Access to battery is unobstructed to allow for easy removal while assembled.
