Add a new level of mobility to the C300, C500, 1D C or 1D X with a Canon Wireless File Transmitter (WFT-E6A). Using the WFT the C300/C500 can be controlled from up to 150 feet away with a wi-fi enabled desktop computer, laptop, iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, as well as Android operating system devices over any 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless network.

The system provides a live (1 frame-per-second) view of the composition enabling operators to start and stop recording, white balance, set gain and other parameters, plus adjust focus and aperture of Canon EF lenses. Another useful feature of the the WFT is input marking for metadata with or without GPS information. The WFT-E6A offers huge potential for specialty applications where a camera must be controlled remotely such as on jibs, car mounts, or other locations where camera operator access is a challenge.

Just a reminder - The WFT-E6A does NOT provide real-time (30 fps) video monitoring to remote devices. The system transmits video images at approximately 1 frame-per-second.
