The Canon BP-A30 Battery Pack for C300 Mark II, C200, and C200B cameras provides 45 watt-hours (3200mAh) of 14.4 volt power. It is a rechargeable lithium ion battery compatible with Canon's Intelligent Battery system. The battery features a removable contact cover that can help keep the contacts clean and help prevent short circuit discharges when the battery is not mounted on the camera.
The battery features four LED lamps that indicate remaining battery life. The battery also communicates remaining battery life and data to the camcorder to for in-camera status monitoring.
